***As of 1 November 2025, the GPs working at Doctors at Southport Park will be BULK-BILLING all GP non-procedural services, for patients with a valid Medicare Card. This is possible due to increased Commonwealth Government investment into Medicare for General Practice***

The GPs working from Doctors at Southport Park are all highly trained registered medical specialists, who are committed to providing the highest level of care and service possible, whilst still bulk-billing all non-procedural GP services.

Given the Medicare funding changes, and in order to allow our GPs to service all of their patients in a timely manner, we will be moving from 15 minute to 10 minute standard GP consultations from 1 November 2025.  Standard consultations will be for patients who have a single issue to discuss with their GP.  Our GPs are committed to providing comprehensive care, so if you have more than 1 issue to discuss, please ensure you book a bulk-billed 20minute appointment, so your GP can spend the time necessary to help you with your multiple issues.

Our usual Fees will apply for all procedural services.

We have setup the EFTPOS capability to ensure patients are able to claim their Medicare rebate at the time of paying their Fees, so the relevant Medicare rebate(s) are deposited back into the patient’s bank account on the spot. Please note, full payment is required at the time of consultation and can’t be delayed to a future time.

Cancellations

If you are unable to make it to your appointment, please provide at least 4 hours’ notice so we can offer your appointment to another patient.  Where patients do not provide 4 hours’ cancellation notice, they may be charged a cancellation fee of $40.00 for a standard appointment and $80 for a long consultation which is not claimable on Medicare. If you need to cancel your appointment outside of normal business hours and have made your appointment online, please cancel your appointment through Hotdoc.  If you made your appointment over the phone or in person and need to cancel your appointment outside of business hours, please email reception@doctorsatsouthportpark.com.au
